Benjamin Hawelka has more than ten years of experience in Investment Banking and Private Equity across a range of industries. He has served in leadership positions on both the advisory and buyer sides, with a focus on the German Mittelstand and the wider DACH mid-market.
Beyond advising clients on complex transactions, Benjamin has worked with large corporates and has personally participated in a major leveraged buy-out, where he co-led a fast-growing company of more than 700 employees before its sale to a major strategic buyer. This operator-investor perspective informs his work at Churchill Partners, where he brings deal-execution rigour and hands-on portfolio governance experience to the board.
He is the Founder and Managing Director of Pure M&A, a specialist corporate finance practice, and has held prior leading roles advising major clients in Germany’s mid-market. His operating background includes time as CFO of one of the fastest-growing IT-services platforms in the DACH region in the SAP space, and as COO and co-investor in one of the fastest-growing Telco infrastructure companies in DACH (mobile and fibre-optic networks), owned by a leading global private equity fund.
