Executive Profile

Bart C. Shuldman is a strategic CEO and business leader with nearly 30 years of P&L and board experience. As Chief Executive Officer of TransAct Technologies for 27 years — and Chairman of the Board from 2001 to 2022 — he led a full company turnaround, IPO, international expansion, and multiple business transformations that strengthened profitability, innovation, and long-term value creation.

He also serves as Board Advisor to Gusmer Enterprises (~$100M), where he has helped drive sales growth, strengthen market positioning, and deepen relationships with key OEM and top-tier customers. Building on this operating experience, Bart founded BC Shuldman Management LLC, where he guides CEOs and Presidents through transition and growth — helping leaders navigate complex business challenges, align their teams, and drive sustainable performance across manufacturing, IT services, and SaaS industries.

Bart began his career at General Electric, where he built a foundation in institutional operating discipline, process rigor, and performance management that continues to shape his approach to capital allocation, board governance, and post-acquisition value creation.
