Christopher Robinson is an entrepreneur, founder and investor with a track record of acquiring, scaling, merging and exiting technology-driven businesses across contact centres, telecoms, AI, SaaS and customer-experience transformation. Across more than 17 successful ventures, he has built, led and exited companies that sit at the intersection of people, data, operations, customer engagement, automation, voice technology, cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence.
He is currently Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of AI Gurus Group, a venture designed to acquire, modernise and scale long-standing, profitable businesses through the strategic application of AI technologies, intelligent automation, customer-experience design and modern digital marketing. The group applies a disciplined Buy-and-Build approach across both the UK and Australian markets, helping traditional organisations transition from legacy processes to data-driven operations that scale profitably.
Christopher is also an investor in Capacity following its merger with Creovai Inc, a business he co-founded and served as Chief Strategy Officer. Creovai was formed through the merger of Awaken Intelligence — which he founded and chaired — and Tethr (USA), unifying real-time agent guidance, workflow automation and advanced conversational intelligence into a next-generation AI customer-engagement platform.
Over a career spanning more than three decades, Christopher has founded, acquired and exited a series of technology and customer-experience businesses, including The Yonder Digital Group (sold to Aquiline Capital Partners-backed Woven), DR Telecoms (sold to LDC-backed Babble), CallScripter, Cirrus Response, Names.co, Message Plus and IMACS. His businesses have consistently combined proprietary technology, operational scale and customer-experience excellence to create value through to successful exit.
Christopher holds an MBA in International Business, Accounting and Management (London) and a BS-equivalent in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), Johannesburg.
