Gary Shenk has worked for more than three decades as a CEO and board member of numerous high-growth, Private Equity and Venture-backed portfolio companies across the globe. He currently serves as a Board Member and Operating Partner, working closely with boards and management teams to maximize value creation across their portfolio investments. He has successfully led four company exits.
Mr. Shenk was the Founding CEO and Executive Chairman of BEN (the Branded Entertainment Network), a Bill Gates-owned private company and the global market leader in product placement and entertainment advertising. Prior to founding BEN, he served as CEO of Bill Gates-owned Corbis, the world’s largest image archive, and as General Manager of FlixMix, a specialty DVD and licensing company owned by Universal Pictures.
Gary began his career as a Project Leader in the Media and Entertainment practice at The Boston Consulting Group. He is a graduate of Harvard College and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
