Jason Allen is an experienced Chair, Chief Executive Officer and Non-Executive Director with several decades of global leadership in tech-enabled people services, workforce solutions, sport and digital transformation. He is recognised for executing value-creation plans that deliver strategic growth, operational excellence and strong shareholder value, with a track record of scaling businesses across 154 countries, improving performance and delivering high-impact transformation leading to 3x+ EBITDA growth and exit readiness.
Jason currently serves as a Non-Executive Director, previously Chair (Private Equity Ownership) of Spencer Ogden, supporting MML Capital, and the leadership team in building the global sustainability staffing leader. He is also Chair (Private Equity Ownership) of Talking Talent, partnering with Bridges Fund Management on a behavioural-science coaching consultancy delivering measurable results across five continents. In parallel, he serves as Ambassador to AFL Europe — the representative body of the Australian Football League across more than 20 European countries — and as Advisor on building high performance to private equity firms and corporate clients, including M&A advisory for European acquisitions and senior executive mentorship.
His prior executive career spans private-equity-backed and high-growth international organisations, giving him deep expertise in corporate strategy, market expansion, M&A, investor engagement and building high-performance teams. As Chief Executive Officer of activpayroll, he led a global payroll and mobility platform across 154 countries, delivering 32% organic annual revenue growth and 31% annual EBITDA growth and outperforming the investment case projections by 1.3 years. As Chief Executive Officer for the UK, Ireland, USA, Australia, Germany, Poland and Switzerland at Harvey Nash, he led a £500 million global recruitment division to record-breaking profits. Earlier roles included Operating Partner Growth at Tenzing, Interim Chair at Mandata Cloud TMS, and Managing Director of a £120 million business unit with over 5,000 employees at Capita, where he secured multiple national service awards.
Jason served as Chief Executive Officer of the NSW Waratahs (Sydney), leading the team to its first Super Rugby Premiership title in 2014 alongside a record 92% membership satisfaction score, and earlier as Chief Executive Officer of the South Australian Motor Sport Board, where he delivered record-breaking attendance and economic impact for one of Australia’s premier sporting events. He is Co-Founder of JAM Sports Management with Ann and Mark Webber, the full-service global agency that has represented Formula 1 driver Oscar Piastri, Formula E driver Mitch Evans, Olympic athlete Kelsey-Lee Barber, speedway star Max Fricke and Motorcycle Trials champion Emma Bristow.
