Steven M. Berry, MBA, is an accomplished executive leader with a distinguished record of guiding complex, multi-state organisations through growth, transformation, acquisitions, and operational scaling. Over a career spanning senior roles in healthcare, behavioral health, pharmacy services, and integrated care delivery, he has consistently improved performance, driven top-line expansion, and strengthened operational resilience. With deep expertise in strategic planning, technology planning and maximisation, M&A execution, organisational turnarounds, and post-acquisition integration, he has delivered measurable improvements in EBITDA, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability. His leadership spans start-ups, mature enterprises, and restructuring environments, with a strong emphasis on governance and financial discipline.
Most recently, as Chief Executive Officer of a Home Care start-up, he has directed the strategic vision and operational growth of a rapidly expanding multi-state provider specialising in Home Care, Therapy, and Telehealth services. Previously, he served as the CEO of WestBridge, Inc., and prior to that as COO / CFO, overseeing a multisite behavioral health and substance abuse organisation through a significant period of succession planning, cultural transformation, technology strategy and restructuring.
He has also held executive and operational leadership positions at Walgreens, ChemRX, PharMerica, Five Star Quality Care / FSQ Pharmacy, CareGroup / Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and HorizonCMS / Greenery Group. In addition to operating roles, he has provided strategic consulting through HTC Group LLC, advising healthcare, pharmacy, behavioral health, and medical organisations on growth strategies, acquisitions, efficiency improvements, valuations, and competitive positioning.
Steven holds executive education credentials in Advanced Management & Leadership from The Wharton School, an MBA in Management & Leadership from Regis University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management & Technology from Northeastern University. He currently serves as President of the Wharton School’s Executive Education Association, and holds current board roles at Churchill Partners, CCT-Boston and AnchorPoint Health Partners, with past roles at WestBridge Inc. and the Recovery Opportunity Fund.
